What it is, and what it is not
Superficial, not muscularSkin botox uses the same substance as ordinary botulinum toxin treatment, but diluted and delivered in many small deposits just under the surface rather than into the muscle. Because it does not reach the muscle in the same way, it does not stop the face moving. Patients who have avoided toxin because they did not want a frozen expression are usually thinking of the other treatment.
What it does affect is oil production, the appearance of pores, and fine surface texture, for roughly three to four months. It is a management treatment. It does not change your skin type and it does not accumulate into a permanent result.
Neck-line and chin-and-jawline treatment on the same price list are different: those do work on muscle, on the platysmal bands and the jaw, and are quoted separately because the technique and the dose differ.

What to expect
On the day
Small raised points and redness for a few hours. Light bruising is possible. Most patients go back to work the same day.
The rest of the day
No sauna, no hot spring, no alcohol, and do not lie face down. Heat is the main thing that moves product where it was not intended.
One to two weeks
The effect appears over this window rather than immediately. If you are visiting Korea briefly, you will see it after you get home.
Three to four months
It fades gradually. A repeat is usually planned before it has gone entirely rather than after.

What is skin botox?

On the autumn 2026 schedule, full face is ₩250,000, the neck line ₩200,000, chin and jawline ₩90,000, and the eye area with VirtueRF lifting ₩440,000. VAT of 10% is added and a first consultation is ₩50,000.
How long does it last?
Commonly three to four months, shorter than muscle treatment because the dose per point is small. It fades gradually rather than stopping, so a repeat is usually planned before the effect has gone entirely.
Is there downtime?
Small raised points and some redness for a few hours, occasionally light bruising. Most patients return to work the same day. Avoid heat, alcohol and lying face down for the rest of the day.
Does it help with oily skin and large pores?
That is the usual reason for having it. The effect on oil and on the appearance of pores is temporary and does not change the underlying skin type, so it is a management treatment rather than a correction.
Can it be combined with lifting or laser?
Frequently. The autumn schedule includes combinations with V-line lift-tightening and with Thermage FLX because the two work on different layers. Order and interval are set at consultation.
Is it safe to have it while visiting Korea briefly?
Yes, provided you are not flying within a few hours and are not planning heat exposure such as a sauna or hot spring on the same day. The effect appears over one to two weeks, so you will most likely see it after you get home.
